The Winnemucca Events Complex (WEC) is located mere minutes from downtown Winnemucca. Formerly the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, the WEC is northern Nevada’s most well-equipped special events complex, boasting 72 acres configured to accommodate all your activities, from small, informal gatherings to large events and expositions.

At the heart of the Winnemucca Events Complex is the 93,000 square foot Event Center featuring 75,000 square feet of indoor multi-purpose space. The facility is surrounded by numerous support facilities, including a new pavilion, an 11,862 square-foot exhibit hall, two large outdoor arenas (one of which includes a 2,300-seat grandstand), a half-mile horse racetrack, 871 horse stalls, livestock holding pens, three show offices, two concession stands, a multitude of parking, and over 33 acres of open space which may be used for parking or temporary horse stalls. The complex also boosts 321 improved campsites and virtually unlimited dry/tent camping. The Event Center is managed by qualified and enthusiastic event professionals who will ensure that every detail of your event is handled in a prompt and professional manner. Events Complex Campground Sites
The Winnemucca Events Complex (WEC) has 321 improved campsites on the facility. Each space contains water and a 30 and/or 50 AMP electrical outlet. 271 of these sites have sewer hook-ups, and a dump station is available at the complex. A clean shower and restroom facility is available for campers. In addition, dry/tent camping is virtually unlimited throughout the facilities.

Commercial Campgrounds
On-grounds camping is available only to those participating in or attending an event or activity on the Winnemucca Events Complex or stalling livestock overnight on the grounds. All others, or those desiring full hookups, showers, swimming pool and other amenities are encouraged to utilize one of the three commercial RV parks located in Winnemucca.
